What We Do...

Leadership Development – Using an intensive, hands-on leadership development model, we train ordinary people to lead their communities and help them act to make truly extraordinary differences.

Community Organizing – Working with these leaders we build relationships, facilitate community meetings, and organize local actions to bring positive change at the local, state, and national levels.

Advocacy – We facilitate and advocate for public policies that respect the dignity of all people. Currently, we are engaged throughout the County in Education and Language Justice, with parents with children with developmental and intellectual disabilities, and other local justice/civil rights issues.

Integrated Voter Engagement (IVE)- is among the most effective ways to increase voter turnout. We train community members to reach out to their neighbors in a continuous, ongoing effort that increases the number of voters and leads to policy changes on and off election years.
